Yin, Yang and Energy Foods such as Acai
I was just reading an interesting article. It described food in terms of Yin and Yang. Yin foods (sweeteners, oils, dairy) can cause weakness. Yang foods (meat, salt, eggs) can cause tension. So, we as a country should stay in the middle of the spectrum by eating a grain-based diet. It made a lot of sense. Does anyone remember the food pyramid? Lots of grains at the bottom. So, I was wondering which health foods out there are actually that healthy for you? I love to have an acai energy drink every once in a while. Are those too Yin? Or should I just eat more brown rice?
