Before Installation

zBoost YX510 can give you the maximum signals that it can transmit and for it to perform at its best we need to take care of some of the important  things.

Firstly we have to decide where  the external antenna of the unit has be placed so that it can collect maximum signals. The zBoost YX510 boost the signal picked by the external antenna and boost them to the maximum level. Therefore it is advised to install the external antenna at the highest possible point where it can capture maximum possible signals. Places where the signal strength is maximum are roofs, windows or attics. We can test the quality of the cell phone signal booster by installing it once.

Next, we have to insure that the signal antenna is at least 3 feet’s of distance away from the metal objects because they can affect or distort the signals.

And after that we have to insure that the base unit is atleast 15 feet away from the external antenna. If this distance is not maintained then the signal antenna and the base unit both can pick up each others signals creating a loop. This loop can affect the zBoost YX510 and can damage the cell phone signal booster unit.
